2010 Unit 11 Activities Planning Meeting Thursday, Feb. 11, 4:30 PM in the Javelina Room with Happy Hour to follow in Agave Lounge. YOU ARE INVITED!
Holiday Dinnner/Dance a Fabulous Success! 27 of our Unit 11 neighbors were seen enjoying the fine dining and dancing at the Holiday Dinner/Dance with Units 16, 18 & 19. A few of the guests escaped before our photo was taken. We had a good turn out for the 1st ever combined event and look forward to an even bigger event this year! Put December 14, 2010 on your calendar NOW!
2010 SaddleBrooke Community Outreach
Annual Food Drive
Saturday, March 6
Due to the generosity of many SaddleBrooke residents, last year SBCO collected approximately 25,000 lbs of food and over $1900 in cash donations. We hope to match or exceed these numbers for 2010.
Here are a few suggestions to help us accomplish another successful food drive:
- In approximately six weeks the food drive will be upon us. In the meantime, we hope you will take the time to purchase food and take advantage of any sales that may be going on at your favorite store.
- If you are not going to be home on the day of the drive please leave food with a neighbor, or contact us and we will pick it up early.
- If it rains, please place the food donations in a visible but dry area.
- If you prefer to donate money. Please make your check payable to: SaddleBrooke Community Outreach with a memo for "Food Drive". As Unit Captains, Paula & Elaine will turn in your checks on Saturday, March 6 when we drop off the food donations at the MVCC parking lot.
- We will deliver informational packets in your tubes approximately three weeks before the food drive.
